Course of study

Your studies are divided into four consecutive phases that will develop you step by step into a communicative specialist for international business relations. In the first semesters, you will lay a solid foundation in the areas of business, languages, communication and interculturality. You will acquire basic management skills, improve your language skills and learn to understand and bridge cultural differences.

From the third semester onwards, you design your study profile according to your individual interests and career goals. You choose one of three specializations - internal communication, external communication or network communication - and set further personal priorities with elective modules. At the same time, you will deepen your business English skills and continuously expand your competence in a neighboring business-related language. Through project work and research tasks, you will learn to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and develop solutions in a team. You will spend the sixth semester as part of the practical module in a company of your choice - in Germany or abroad - and gain valuable professional experience. In the final seventh semester, you will focus on sustainable corporate management in an international context and complete your studies with a Bachelor thesis in which you work on a relevant issue in the field of international business communication.
