Prof. Raj Kollmorgen with a lecture on the underrepresentation of East Germans in elite positions
On 23.09.2025, Prof. Raj Kollmorgen gave a lecture on the topic of East Germans in the elites as part of a series of events at the Federal Press Office in Berlin in the presence of the government spokesman and head of the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government, Stefan Kornelius, and discussed the findings on and reasons for the underrepresentation as well as ways of shaping policy to reduce the existing minority representation with the participants of the event. Prof. Kollmorgen also discussed the results of the Elite Monitor. The Elite Monitor is a federally funded research project that HS Zittau/Görlitz has been carrying out together with the University of Leipzig and Friedrich Schiller University Jena since 2022.
