On Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 01:10 to 01:55, MDR will be showing the documentary Rage. Now we're going to the West by Matthias Schmidt. The film reverses the usual perspective and looks at the West from an East German point of view. Prof. Raj Kollmorgen scientifically classifies social tensions and perceptions between East and West and explains how historical experiences and social inequalities still shape mutual understanding today. The documentary invites viewers to question familiar narratives about German unity and is also available in the ARD Mediathek.
