At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz, Department of Studies and International Affairs, a position (40 hours/week) is available at the earliest possible date for a limited period of 6 months as

 

Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator (m/f/d)

 

to be filled.

Open-minded and internationally networked, the HSZG is involved in international partnerships for teaching and research, promotes cultural exchange and, as the academic center of Upper Lusatia, is committed to cross-border cooperation in the Neisse Euroregion. The International Office, as part of the Department of Studies and International Affairs, deals with all questions of internationalization and international cooperation at the university and acts as a link between the university management, faculties and other structural units. The post holder has the following tasks in particular:

 

  • Erasmus University Coordination, within the Department of Studies and International Affairs
    (quality and process management, budget responsibility, strategy),
  • Maintenance and further development of Erasmus partnerships,
  • Acquisition of third-party funds, project implementation and monitoring, accounting for third-party funds (Erasmus, DAAD),
  • Advice for students and teaching staff in preparation for stays abroad,
  • Advice and administrative support for committees and university members on questions of international cooperation within the framework of Erasmus cooperation, as well as on other national and international funding and cooperation programs and support in drafting contracts.

 

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • Completed university degree with a relevant connection to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,
  • professional experience in an international office or comparable institution,
  • excellent knowledge of English and German (C1 CEFR),
  • experience in the administration of funds and the acquisition of third-party funds,
  • service orientation,
  • organizational skills, a sense of responsibility and initiative,
  • personal, social and intercultural skills commensurate with the responsibility profile.

 

In addition, the following are desirable

  • Experience in the organization and design of business processes and structures of university administration,
  • own experience abroad.

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 10 TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau.
