Lecturer with a specified function (m/f/d) - Nursing practice with focus on children - Reference: 02-2025 LfbA (4) -

The job includes the following tasks in particular:

• Classes / courses in the nursing modules or modules with a pediatric (nursing) nursing component of the nursing degree programs including practical supervision according to § 38 para. 3 PflBG and state examination according to § 39 PflBG, with a focus on pediatric (nursing) nursing,
• Collaboration in the further development of the practical study components in the nursing degree courses, including the implementation of skills and SimLab units for the pediatric nursing areas,
• Coordination and supervision of students in practical assignments with a focus on pediatric (nursing) care activities,
• Informing and advising those interested in the degree program and the practice facilities on the design of the pediatric nursing modules,
• Participation in public relations work, e.g. participation in trade fairs and university information days, school events, creation of information material, etc. and
• Supporting the faculty's research projects.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university degree in nursing, nursing education, medical education or comparable courses of study,
• Completed vocational training in a nursing profession according to § 1 PflBG as well as practical experience in nursing care,
• Proof of expertise in childcare,
• pedagogical and didactic skills in teaching,
• very good written expression and analytical thinking skills.

The following are also desirable

• University didactic knowledge and experience,
• Experience and professional expertise in/regarding current legal requirements for academic nursing training and studies (general studies),
• Knowledge of simulated teaching (Skills-/SimLab),
• Knowledge of university-related structures and processes,
• experience in research and
• further language skills.
