Pupils from Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Löbau became researchers at the HSZG.
The 11th Science Project Week of the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Löbaus took place from September 2 to 6. 14 pupils (SuS) experienced exciting experimental topics in the STEM faculties of the HSZG:
The pupils in year 9 worked in small teams and prepared laboratory experiments, analyzed the data obtained and drew conclusions from it.
On the final day, each team presented its project topic to an interested (specialist) audience using a poster and projector presentation.
The Rector of the HSZG, Prof. Alexander Kratzsch, personally conveyed his greetings and reported that he was introduced to engineering as a pupil through practical work and then went on to study it.
The presenting student teams confidently reported on their technical experiences and findings. A jury consisting of students, teachers and HSZG awarded prizes for the most convincing presentations, very good poster work and also recognized special personal achievements.
A big thank you to the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences sponsorship association, which provided book vouchers worth a total of 100 euros for this award.
Special thanks also go to all the university staff involved in the laboratories, in particular: Matthias Jeschke, Felix Rothe, Egmont Schreiter, Michael Sbieschni, Matthias Tirsch, Prof. Jens Weber.
