At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (HSZG), Department of Human Resources and Law, as part of a project funded by the federal and state governments entitled "Developing, promoting and utilizing potential - attracting professorial staff through internal and external cooperation", a position (30 hours/week) is available at the earliest possible date as a

FH Personnel Project Manager (m/f/d) - Keyword: ProKoop-PM -

to be filled on a temporary basis until 31.12.2028.

The program to promote the recruitment and development of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences supports the universities of applied sciences in the introduction and expansion of structurally effective instruments for recruiting academic excellence. These are developed in sub-projects with the active participation of the faculties of the UASG and brought together by the overarching project structure, taking into account the central strategic objectives of the UASG.

In this context, the post holder (m/f/d) is responsible for project management with the following focal points:

- Coordination and control of the overall project under the direction of the Rector and in close cooperation with the structural units involved (faculties, Human Resources and Legal Department)

- Continuous research, analysis of the market situation and conceptual adaptation/continuation of the project including evaluation, documentation and reporting on project progress

- Coordination, support and controlling of the measures in the sub-projects,

- Development of sustainable action strategies for the HSCG and establishment of corresponding instruments,

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • University degree related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility,
  • Sound knowledge and experience in project management and controlling as well as in the documentation, presentation and visualization of project results,
  • interdisciplinary way of thinking and analytical thinking skills,
  • Methodological competence with regard to the event formats to be selected,
  • Knowledge of university procedures and operations as well as career paths in science and the specifics of dealing with scientific excellence,
  • Ability to work strategically, conceptually and interdisciplinarily,
  • Experience in the organization and implementation of digital and analogue network and event formats (workshops, workshops, moderation),
  • very good written and oral communication skills in German and a working knowledge of English,
  • a high level of communication skills and a confident manner.

The following are also desirable

  • Experience in committee work,
  • Affinity and experience in recruiting academic staff,
  • further foreign language skills.

Further information

If the personal and professional requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 12 TV-L. The 1st place of work is Zittau. A probationary period will be agreed.
