Visit to the Faculty W

From April 04-08, Faculty W had a visit from a European colleague as part of ERASMUS+

From April 4 to 8, the Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering Management had a visit from a European colleague as part of the ERASMUS+ program.

Prof. Püschel gave ass. Prof. Dr inż. Mateusz Molasy gave a lecture on "The Processes of Knowledge Management" and Prof. Schütte gave two lectures on developments in the production process and analyzed the handling of work at multinationals in Lower Silesia. The subject content was taught to the students in English.

Dr inż. Mateusz Molasy is based in Wrocław, Poland, at Politechnika Wrocławska and teaches management at the faculty. After being welcomed by Dean Straßberger, the campus and various laboratories were explained and the city was visited.

He had several friendly exchanges with colleagues over dinner, including on the economy and current international politics. The guest also explored Liberec and the television tower on Yesken and Bogatynia on his own initiative.

He particularly liked the landscape and the Oybin Monastery. His motivation for the visit was to broaden his own experiences abroad and also intercultural curiosity. The multi-talented young scientist - with a doctorate on the subject of organizational culture in companies - creatively photographs the country and its people and likes to be booked for parties, then transformed into DJ "MTM".

The visit was organized by Stephanie Ludwig (DAAD) and Prof. Tomlow, departmental co-ordinator of the Erasmus programme.
