The Deutschlandstipendium stands for a scholarship culture supported by the federal government, universities and private sponsors.

It supports talented and committed students at our university. In addition to good grades or academic performance, social commitment and special personal achievements - such as successfully overcoming hurdles in one's own educational biography - also count in the awarding of the Deutschlandstipendium.

The Deutschlandstipendium amounts to 300 euros per month. Private sponsors such as companies, foundations, alumni and other private individuals pay 150 euros of this amount. The other 150 euros are paid by the federal government. The Deutschlandstipendium is paid directly to the scholarship holders by the universities. The funding is awarded regardless of income and can also be received in addition to BAföG.

Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has been participating in the Deutschlandstipendien program since 2011. For the winter semester 2021/2022, 15 scholarships could be awarded to students from different study programs at our university.
