IMS seminar series for companies

Management systems for professionals and managers

The IMS seminar series is aimed at your company as a whole. It includes seminars on current topics of the various management systems and addresses different target groups in your company, because management systems concern everyone: from the management, executives and representatives to each individual employee.

In the training year 2022, the IMS seminar series is once again a joint effort of the Integrated Management Systems Team of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences and TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH. Within one year, we offer you - as usual - a total of six seminar dates.


Our IMS seminar series provides practice-relevant expertise on issues related to integrated management systems. In this year's series, you can expect long-running topics such as auditing and fire protection as well as unusual topics such as occupational health management.

  • 01/27/22, 1-5 p.m.: Determination of deployment times for environmental management officers

    with Frank Machalz

    DIN SPEC 91424, published by Beuth Verlag on December 4, 2020, is a guide for calculating the operating times of the various statutory and normative environmental protection officers. Since its publication, the guide has been noted by organizations with lively interest.

    Target groups:

    Managing directors*, executives, management representatives

    Training content

    • Explanation of the structure, essence and contents of the guide
    • Presentation of the calculation models of the guide for the various officers and multiple officers in the field of environmental protection using examples
    • Application of the guide to the representative situation in your company

  • 05/19/22, 1-5 p.m.: Audit methods in transition

    with Prof. Dr. Jana Brauweiler and Anke Zenker-Hoffmann

    Are internal audits for you an annoying evil that you want to get over with as quickly as possible, or do you use them to reflect on your practice together with your colleagues in an appreciative manner in order to gain ideas for your future work?

    Internal auditors, management representatives

    • Requirements for internal audits - what needs to be done?
    • Collection of topics: How do you currently conduct your internal audits? What changes would you like to see?
    • Presentation of alternative methods, e.g. top-flop method, deputy audit, quiz, flash ad hoc audits, hospitation

    Often, a wide variety of great, forward-looking investment ideas emerge from collaboration in an energy management team. However, these energy-related projects often compete with other pending investments within the company.

Participation Information

We ask that you register by December 17, 2021 by simply clicking on the registration links found in each seminar description. Registration is required per seminar. Registration can be done centrally via the HR department or decentralized by the respective interested parties.

Start and End:

The events start at 1 pm and end at 5 pm.


Invoicing is done by the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences as a total invoice.

  • single training: 395,00 Euro gross/company
  • two out of six trainings: 750,00 Euro gross/company (375,00 Euro/training)
  • three out of six trainings: 1.050,00 Euro gross/company (350,00 Euro/training)
  • four out of six trainings: 1.280,00 Euro gross/company (320,00 Euro/training)
  • five out of six trainings: 1.600,00 Euro gross/company (320,00 Euro/training)
  • all six trainings: 1.800,00 Euro gross/company (300,00 Euro/training)

These costs include the participation of up to two company representatives to the selected seminars. The cost for each additional company representative is 75.00 euros gross/company.

The price includes certificates of attendance and seminar buffet.


Participants will receive certificates of participation from TÜV-Rheinland Akademie GmbH and Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences following the event.
