Inbound ERASMUS+ students
Dear ERASMUS+ students,
We are delighted that you are coming to us as an exchange student, and would like to extend an extremely warm
welcome to Zittau/Görlitz!
Görlitz and Zittau are in the very south-eastern corner of Germany in the State of Saxony – you will thus be studying at Germany‘s most eastern tertiary education institution. The two cities, which are just 35 km away from one another, are located in the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa, an international region encompassing the south-eastern corner of Germany and the neighbouring parts of Poland and the Czech Republic. With approximately 25,000 and 56,000 inhabitants respectively, both Zittau and Görlitz offer a close-knit, compact environment – just right for studying.
Both campuses offer excellent study amenities which are constantly being improved. Students benefit from well-equipped laboratories for instruction and research and can take advantage of state-of-the-art library facilities and cafeterias.
