DESCRIPTION:In universities\, a portfolio is understood to be a “collection” of “compiled sheets” (from the Latin *portare* and *folium*) that contains various materials (results\, documentation\, reflections\, etc.).A portfolio allows students to document and reflect on their learning processes\, learning outcomes\, and completed work\; a portfolio can also be used as an examination component. The function of a portfolio must be precisely defined in the module description or course description and linked to the intended learning outcomes/competencies (ILOs) in order to provide students with guidance for their work.
