DESCRIPTION:Generative AI systems such as ChatGPT offer new possibilities for scientific work in studies and teaching. The course provides a basic understanding of the functions and paradigms of such systems. In practical exercises\, the possibilities and limitations of generative AI are made tangible. Using specific prompts on academic writing\, information research and argumentation\, participants will analyze the performance of generative AI systems. The aim is to be able to give a well-founded assessment of the current possibilities and limitations.
