SUMMARY:Education for sustainable development - innovative methods for sustainable teaching
DESCRIPTION:Climate change\, growing global inequalities\, scarcity of resources - the future is full of challenges that sustainable development is crucial to overcoming. In order to initiate and help shape processes such as ending poverty and hunger in the world\, which are formulated in the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)\, students need specific skills as future decision-makers. This raises the question for universities and teachers as to what contribution education can make to sustainable development\, what skills students need to acquire for the future and how teaching and learning can be shaped in terms of a changing learning culture.
