The objective of the Institute for Education, Information and Communication (BIK) is to assist the transfer of its academic insights into the practical world and to so promote the critical reflection, appreciation and ongoing development of interpersonal and technology-based structures and processes of communication, information and education in social and industrial contexts.

Key tasks:

• Interdisciplinary and application-oriented research on interpersonal and technology-based communication, information and education, particularly from the perspective of psychology, computer science, linguistics and pedagogy
• Provision of consultancy services and expert opinions on topical issues within the institute
