Solution-focused short-term counseling / short-term coaching (LFB/LFC) goes back to the solution-focused approach of the working group around Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg / Milwaukee. Core elements are the attitudes of resource orientation, curiosity and appreciation.
The approach gets by with a compact set of methods: open, competence-oriented questions; hypothetical questions; questions about exceptions; reframing, scaling, the "wonder question", closing comments and tasks / experiments. Consultation is oriented towards solutions and goals and focuses on everyday actions.
This makes LFB/LFC very suitable for a variety of consulting and coaching contexts. It can be used to achieve quick and sustainable changes. LFB/LFC is also a valuable approach for online consulting. This training is aimed at face-to-face counseling, but can also be applied to online counseling.
