Who can receive grants?
- Tenured and emeritus professors
- Employed lecturers and contract lecturers
- Scientific collaborators
who are citizens of a country that is part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Precondition is a valid inter-institutional agreement between HSZG and the partner institution of your choice.

Duration and financing
Teaching visits are possible from two days up to two months. Travel costs can be reimbursed (2 days). However, for budget reasons we can only guarantee a financing for 5 days in one academic year (including travel days). Travel and subsistence are looked at differently:
Travel expenses will be calculated on a one-way basis. The place of departure does not necessarily have to be the address of the sending institution. HSZG does not assume any liability for damage to cars, private or rented.

Grant Agreement
Before you go, we will send you a Grant Agreement that includes information on the amount of support you receive and other important terms regarding your visit. This Agreement must be signed by you and sent back in duplicate (including the original copy).

Conditions
The minimum number of teaching hours is eight over your entire STA period, irrespective of whether you stay for two or seven days. You can only receive support for days you have actually taught. Be sure to keep records and confirmations of any teaching assignments on weekends or holidays.

Final report
You are required to complete a final report when you return. This Erasmus+ survey must be completed within 30 days after having received the automated email.

Travel expenses
You can claim amounts for travel and subsistence without receipts. However, please do keep your travel vouchers (airline tickets, hotel bills, bus tickets etc), as we have to report any lump sums paid to the revenue office. They may be needed to serve as proof of expense on your tax return.

Reclaims
Your travel and subsistence grant must be supported by complete application documents and your final report. Any lump sumps paid will be reclaimed from you if necessary documents are missing.
